About us

A kitchen on the ridge, since 2016

We built up here for one reason: every table looks out over the valley. The kitchen is small, everything is cooked to order, and most mornings you can watch the mist burn off the hills below while your coffee is made.

Locals come up for dal bhat and a long lunch. Travellers stop on the way to Manaslu. We cook the same food for both.

How do I get up there, and how long does it take?

It's 10 minutes by vehicle from Gorkha Bazaar up the ridge road. There's free parking on site. The road is sealed most of the way and fine for two-wheelers outside heavy monsoon.

Can I pay online?

Yes — cash or online payment, both fine. Ask at the counter which wallet or QR they use.

Do you have vegetarian food?

Yes — the veg thali, veg momo, chowmein, and most of the breakfast menu. Everything vegetarian is marked on the menu above. Tell us when you order if you need it cooked without onion or garlic.

Can I come before sunrise?

Call the night before and we'll open early for you. It's the best time of day up here and we'd rather you saw it.

Is there wifi?

Yes, free for guests. Ask at the counter for the password.

Do you deliver?
